OK summer is here as far as I am concerned. I heard my first whippoorwill.

This (posted) isn’t my recording (I have not recorded a whippoorwill) but I found one on youtube because some people I know have never heard the call.  However if you have ever visited us in the summer, you KNOW what this call is.  Whippoorwill’s love to find out-of-town visitors, sit outside there window and call (loudly) all night.  I think it’s a whippoorwill Olympic event worth lots of points.
